MANILA — Piolo Pascual emphasized there is no "ratings rivalry" between him and friend, Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo.

The Kapamilya show "Pamilya Sagrado," top-billed by Pascual, and the Kapuso series "Widows' War," starring Alonzo, have the same timeslot.

“There is no rivalry whatsoever. At the end of the day we ate friends,” Pascual said in an interview during the special screening of his latest film “Real Life Fiction,” Wednesday afternoon.

Pascual recently posted a screenshot of a video call with Alonzo on his Instagram account with the caption “Talking about ratings? Not!!! Misshoo so much.”

Alonzo meanwhile reposted the moment saying “Never!! I miss you, Eali!!”

The posts comes after the duo realized mid-conversation that their shows air at around the same time.

“We were talking about dinner because it has been long overdue. And then we were saying, 'oo nga magkatapat shows natin ‘no, hanep!' But that is it,” Pascual recalled.
