MANILA -- Kapamilya actor Gerald Anderson has expressed his pride and support for his girlfriend, Julia Barretto, following the success of her latest film, “Un/Happy for You," where she stars alongside her ex-boyfriend, Joshua Garcia.

Anderson shared his thoughts on Barretto's achievement, saying, "Super proud! It’s good for the industry; it just shows that when the project is good, people will watch it."

When asked if he felt any jealousy about Barretto working with her ex, the actor was candid in his response.

"Ganito lang 'yun, if walang feelings, siguro medyo weird yun, right? Sabi ko lang parang ganun nature of work natin talagang awkward eh, it's really awkward, but you know at the end of the day, I’ve been in that situation," he said. 

"Marami sila napasaya na fans. 'Yung feelings na 'yun it takes a backseat. You wanna be professional for them, support her. At the end of the day she’s the person I care about,” he added.

Anderson is gearing up for his return to television with his comeback series, "Nobody," following a two-year break.
