MANILA — It looks as though Joy (Kathryn Bernardo) and Ethan (Alden Richards) are not in good terms in the new teaser of the film "Hello, Love, Again," which was released on Wednesday afternoon.

The clip, which ran for more than a minute, showed the protagonists trying to be in a long-distance relationship, but Ethan pushed to be in Canada to reunite with his partner.

"I miss my Joy here in Hong Kong," Ethan said. "Andiyan pa rin naman ako eh, sa puso mo?" Joy added.

"Ilang ba-bye pa ba 'to? Excited na akong makarating sa future na kasama ka," Ethan said. "And we're now making that future happen," Joy added as they cross paths in the airport.

In the last scene, Joy donned a new look in a café where Ethan appears to work.

"Joy is gone," she said, before introducing herself as Marie.

"Hello, Love, Again," the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster film "Hello, Love, Goodbye," will hit cinemas on November 13.

The blockbuster film ended with Joy leaving Hong Kong to pursue a career in Canada, while Ethan opened his own business. Viewers were left hanging whether they ended up together or not.

"Hello, Love, Goodbye" was the highest-grossing Philippine film of all time until January 2024, when it was surpassed by "Rewind."
