Things are slowly starting to fade. Iba na ang tinginan niyo. Mas prefer niyo na mag-isa,” Gutierrez explained in an interview in Quezon City, Thursday afternoon.</p><p>“It was sparked by a feeling of wanting one last dance before going our separate ways,” he added.</p><p>According to Gutierrez, this R&amp;B and pop-infused track was the first song he was able to write since their breakup after going through a creative slump.</p><p>“It took me a while to write music again. Ang dami emotions I did not know how to process. Three to four months hindi ako nakasulat,” he recalled.</p><p>Gutierrez shared that writing the heartfelt piece featuring his intimate reflection on love, loss, and moving forward helped him cope better with the heartbreak.</p><p>“I am not the type to share too much about my problems. I do but filtered. Writing was an outlet to express my feelings and emotions,” he reasoned.</p><p>“I am just trying to see now the silver lining, God’s plan. Everything happens for a reason. I feel it was best for the best of us to grow… I am in a better place.
