<p>BTS member Kim Taehyung aka V surprised his fans with a new social media post.</p><p>On his Weverse account, the singer shared snapshots of himself in his military uniform.</p><p>He also penned a message for his fans saying, &quot;Are you doing well? Did you see the snow? It&#x27;s the beginning of winter.&quot;</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17329563694451732956367653.png" style="width:600px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Aside from the surprise message, V had another treat for his fans recently with the release of his new single &quot;Winter Ahead&quot; with Park Hyo Shin on November 29.</p><p>&quot;A jazz-pop duet that V and Park have carefully collaborated on over a long time reflects both of their tastes,&quot; BigHit Music said in a press release as reported by The Korea Times. </p><p>&quot;Their soft and gentle vocal colors will convey warmth to listeners,&quot; the agency added.</p><p>A music video for the track was dropped on the same day. Fans online were quick to react to the video.</p><p>&quot;It was like a movie with Taehyung&#x27;s heavenly voice,&quot; one fan commented.</p><p>&quot;Christmas isn&#x27;t complete without hearing Taehyung&#x27;s comforting and angelic voice,&quot; another fan wrote.</p><p>&quot;This is so V. Cozy, jazzy vibes, vintage, romantic. Love it!&quot; another fan said.</p><div><iframe width="1226" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HAWYOuMGkK0" title="V &#x27;Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)&#x27; Official MV" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>The song landed the No. 1 spot on iTunes Songs charts in at least 75 countries as of 6am on November 30.</p><p>V is also set to unveil a special remix of the timeless Christmas classic, &quot;White Christmas,&quot; on December 6. The track will combine V&#x27;s vocals with a restored recording of one of Bing Crosby&#x27;s iconic archival performances.</p><p>&quot;I’m so grateful to have had the chance to be featured in a song with my all-time favorite jazz artist, Bing Crosby,&quot; V said in a previous statement as reported by Billboard.</p><p>&quot;I grew up listening to his song ‘It’s Been a Long, Long Time’ countless times a day, and I feel incredibly fortunate and honored to have sung along on ‘White Christmas’ with the voice of someone I consider an idol,&quot; he added.</p><p>V previously released songs during the winter season including &quot;Snow Flower&quot; and &quot;Christmas Tree.&quot;</p><p>The BTS member started his mandatory military service back in December 2023.</p><div><br/></div>
