<p>Erwan Heussaff and Nico Bolzico have expanded their restaurant business, Chingolo Deli, by opening another branch.</p><p>In a YouTube vlog uploaded on the FEATR channel, Erwan and Nico shared their journey on building the steakhouse in Molito, Alabang.</p><p>&quot;I don&#x27;t think we would be here today if we didn&#x27;t have the right people in place,&quot; Erwan remarked. &quot;All the other teams that have been with us for a long, long time. Some of these people have been with us since the first restaurant I put up and they&#x27;re all coming back together now. The Makati [branch], if you&#x27;ve seen it, it&#x27;s very green, very dark, very speakeasy. Here, we had a corner lot with so much kind of natural light coming in.&quot;</p><p>He went on: &quot;We wanted to create a space that reflected that light that we get from outside so that&#x27;s why the palette that we chose are very much in line with the palette that we have in our logo which are kind of like the reds, the pinks, and the whites, and the beiges. We didn&#x27;t do much to the space. We really wanted to keep it as open as possible.&quot;</p><p>They did not announce that they were opening initially so they were surprised by the amount of people who dined during the first few days of their opening.</p><p>&quot;We opened secretly, we didn&#x27;t announce, we didn&#x27;t tell anyone. It was supposed to be like let&#x27;s open the doors, not many people will come so we open and the first day, [there were] 120 people, the second day 180 people, and last night was 200 something people.&quot;</p><div><iframe width="1280" height="720" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mRUtVwiVBC8" title="Building a Steakhouse in Alabang Philippines (Chingolo Deli with Erwan and Nico)" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>Nico remarked that he believes that their previous branch was successful, and that the reason their new branch is getting traction is because of the value they provide to their customers.</p><p>&quot;The reason why I believe we are doing well, and we are doing super well in Makati, and if this maintains I think we&#x27;re gonna do super well here, is we bring value. When people come and eat here, and they enjoy the food and they have a good experience and when they see the bill they are surprised because we don&#x27;t really mark up our beef like crazy and we import it ourselves. Not many restaurants import their own container of beef,&quot; Nico explained.</p><p>&quot;So I think that aspect... that&#x27;s one of the things that makes regulars, it&#x27;s you have good value,&quot; he added.</p>
