Kasi siguro dahil ang ka-work ay mga bata, siyempre may sinusunod tayo mga rules para sa bata. So parang gusto ko pa sana silang maka-bonding,” she expressed.</p><p>The pop culture icon shared that the kiddie hopefuls reminded her of her own early beginnings in the industry.</p><p>“Kahit ganun na short lang yung mga sama-sama namin minsan, nakakakwentuhan ko kasi sila eh. Kaya parang naaalala ko nung nag-start ako. Ganito ako nung ganyang edad ganyan ako nag-start. So ang sarap lang makapag-share. Tapos ang sarap din mag-reminisce. Dahil nakikita mo yung sarili mo nga sa mga bata. And happy ako na every time nila akong binibigyan ng project, ay gusto ko rin talaga. Tapos, <em>Idol Kids</em> to eh. Kumbaga, pangalawa ko na &#x27;to. Yung una ko, judge ako. Tapos ngayon nga as host. So iba nang iba yung experience kasi iba yung panahon dati, iba yung ngayon. Masarap yung feeling na nag-trust sila. Sa lahat ng mga pwedeng mag-host, nag-trust sila (sa akin). So, very thankful ako,” Jolina said.</p><p>The singer-actress was also part of a past iteration of the Idol franchise in 2008, where she served as one of the judges.</p><p>Meanwhile, Jolina also didn’t forget to give advice to the young winners, led by 9-year-old champion Alexa Mendoza, who secured the top spot with an impressive 98.88 total score from both the judges and public votes.</p><p>“Number one is humility and yung pagiging grateful palagi. Because yung humility, yun ang unang-unang pwedeng nawawala. Pag naka-experience ka kasi pag ikaw na yung nanalo, e, di ba? Hirap at sarap, naghahalo minsan, tapos nakakalimutan mo na yung talagang core mo. So, kung ano yung sinabi nila, ganun din yung aking advice sa kanila. Kasi, pag meron ka nun sa heart mo at may joy ka, wala kang insecurities, malayong-malayo ang mararating mo,” she said.</p>
