<p>Asia&#x27;s Songbird Regine Velasquez expressed alarm and heartbreak after reposting a TikTok video that showed the widespread destruction in Cebu following Typhoon Tino, attributed to man-made factors. </p><div><br/></div><p>The TikTok compilation, which Regine shared via her own social media account on November 8, showed photos and clips of Cebu submerged by floodwaters, with cars overturned and houses badly damaged. The video also included claims that pointed to manmade factors, among them are the construction of the Monterrazas de Cebu in Barangay Guadalupe, quarrying and dolomite mining, and questionable flood-control projects, linked to the scale of the devastation. </p><div><br/></div><p>Regine’s repost carried a distressed message that underscored her outrage and sorrow. “ANONG GINAWA NYO SA CEBU!!!!!!! Hindi bumabaha sa Cebu anong ginawa nyo!!!!! Sinira nyo ang kabundukan na syang proteksyon natin sa bagyo at pagbaha!!!!
