Vice Ganda responds to netizen after post on Miss Universe drew criticisms online

<p>Following the Miss Universe 2025 coronation day on Friday, November 21, Vice Ganda found himself in the middle of an online rift on X (formerly Twitter) after his playful post about the pageant’s performance by Thai artist Jeff Satur drew criticism from some fans.</p><p>In his post, the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime"><em><strong>It’s Showtime</strong></em></a> host commented on how this year’s edition featured only one performer across multiple segments. Vice also humorously suggested that SB19’s Stell could have been an additional act for the night.</p><p>“Ay juliet juliet ang performer ha! Sana nagsabi kayo para pinapunta ko jan si Stell! #MissUniverse2025, ” Vice wrote.  </p><p>The comedian’s use of “juliet, juliet,” a slang term he later explained as “inulit” or “repeated” was intended to describe the pageant’s decision to feature just one performer throughout the event this year.
