Winwyn Marquez on making her acting comeback this year: ‘Acting is a craft that I really love’

<p>Apart from competing in the Miss Universe Philippines pageant earlier this year, Winwyn Marquez looks back on 2025 as a colorful year since she also decided to return to showbiz after becoming a mom in 2022. Win admitted she didn’t miss showbiz too much since she was enjoying being a mom to her now three-year-old daughter Luna. </p><p>“The best thing is that I can actually hold a conversation with her now at three years old. Sinasabi na niya kung anong gusto niya. Yung pinakamahirap is since nakaka-hold na siya ng conversation, alam na niya kung anong gusto niya (laughs). Ang hirap ng magsabi ng &#x27;no&#x27; kasi she can actually tell me what she really wants to do. Dun lang medyo, pagbibigyan ko ba o hindi? So every time that I step into the studio or the set or a show that I’m doing that will actually air next year, I don’t know but I’m just in the zone. When you love something and when you want to grow and do that kind of career parang natural na pagdating mo dun. I’m thankful that GMA gave me another teleserye and action pa siya, which is something I’ve never done before. It’s not easy at all. I think it’s just a matter of discipline. It’s a matter of understanding your body talaga. But if you’re tired, you have to rest. And if you need help, always ask for help. It’s not a weakness to ask for help because I did the same thing. Nung kailangan ko ng katulong sa anak ko, I asked my husband, I asked my parents, I asked my friends. Because when you step into that kind of role, you actually know how it feels how it is to be a mom. And I think you can convey your emotions better pag ganun. So I’m open to that. She loves dancing. She has her own walk already (laughs). Because she was exposed to the Miss Universe Philippines journey and I just love how she loves the camera like I do,” she said.</p><p>Win also shared that she and her partner are open to the possibility of growing their family, “Oh naku, siyempre it’s always in the cards. But since the opportunities are coming in, I want to grab it as much as I can. And kung ibibigay naman ni Lord in the perfect time then why not?” </p>
