EXCLUSIVE: Alexa Miro dreams of working with Angel Locsin someday

<p>Last year, Alexa Miro made her Metro Manila Film Festival debut in the horror film entry <em>Taiwan Killer Hospital</em>. This year, Alexa returns as part of the ensemble cast of the Christmas themed film <em>Rekonek</em>, which also stars actor and producer Gerald Anderson. </p><p>“Sobrang thrilled ako kasi unang beses kong maranasan na maging part ng MMFF last year tapos 50th year pa and golden anniversary, so that was very momentous for me. So to be part of MMFF again this year is such an honor. Lalo na po dahil meron tayong all-star cast ngayon at nakatrabaho ko ang ating mga beteranong aktor at aktres. The 29-year-old actress admitted that her screen name was inspired by her longtime showbiz idol, Angel Locsin. Alexa said she has been a fan of the award-winning actress since watching her on series like <em>Lobo </em>and <em></em><em>Legal Wife.</em> </p><p>“Pinapanuod ko yung mga shows na ‘yun sa TV palagi. Si Ms. Angel Locsin, idol ko talaga siya simula nung bata pa ako kaya Alex din ‘yung aking screen name. Pangarap ko po siya makatrabaho. Kasi ‘di ba sa <em>Four Sisters and A Wedding</em> ‘di ba Alex ‘yung pangalan niya dun? Because being an artista, siyempre mahirap din ‘yung pressure when we see social media. When we have social media, we tend to compare ourselves sa growth and success ng ibang tao.
