Here's why Bianca King decided to move back to the Philippines with her family

<p>Bianca King opened up about why she decided to return to the Philippines after living in Australia for five years.</p><p>In an interview with Boy Abunda, Bianca shared that her stay in Australia was not part of the original plan and it happened because of the COVID-19 pandemic.</p><p>&quot;Dun ako nanirahan ng limang taon na hindi planado pero &#x27;yun ang nangyari kaya inembrace ko na lang siya,&quot; she shared. &quot;Nung 2019 pabalik-balik ako dun eh because my husband, who was my boyfriend at that time, was based there and nagkataon lang na nandun ako para sa birthday niya. Kakarating ko lang with just one suitcase just for his birthday and then siguro mga 2 or 3 days after ko dumating, nag-close &#x27;yung borders, nag-lockdown na everywhere,&quot; she relayed.</p><p>She added that it was her close friends who helped pack and send her belongings to Australia while she was abroad.</p><p>Bianca later married Ralph Wintle in a living room ceremony in July 2021. First, she emphasized the need for support as a mother.</p><p>&quot;Una kasi kailangan talaga namin ng suporta. Ako kasi, nag-suffer ako eh. I was always in survival mode just trying to make it through the day, just doing everything. At the end of the day, pagod na pagod na ako and I&#x27;m like, this is not the way I want motherhood to be for me. Life can be so much better,&quot; she explained.</p><p>Bianca also shared that being closer to family was a major factor, saying she and her husband want to raise their daughter surrounded by loved ones. &quot;Dahil gusto namin mapalapit sa family namin. We want to raise our daughter with the comfort of my friends and their kids, and also be close to her cousin, because they love being together. Iza (Calzado, wife of Bianca&#x27;s brother-in-law Ben Wintle) has a daughter na same age sila di ba, so it&#x27;s ideal na na mag-kapitbahay kami at &#x27;yung dalawang bata nagkikita araw-araw,&quot; she said.</p><p>Second reason was she wanted to be close to her friends again.</p><p>Lastly, Bianca admitted she wanted to rediscover her sense of self and continue pursuing her career alongside motherhood.</p><p>&quot;Kumikita ako at nagtatrabaho ako for myself since I was 15 and hindi mo &#x27;yun miaaalis sa akin na I am a hard worker, I am an artist, I like to do my own thing so I felt I lost myself. &#x27;Yan ang pinaka-common na maririnig mo sa mothers di ba? Nawala &#x27;yung sense of self. We lovingly welcome this season of life now that both families are together in the Philippines,&quot; she said in an Instagram post.</p>
