‘Gimik’ stars reunite with a fun Christmas party exchange gift

<p>Stars of the iconic ’90s youth-oriented show <em>Gimik</em> recently reunited for a special Christmas party, bringing nostalgia and laughter to fans online.</p><p>The gathering featured Judy Ann Santos, Jolina Magdangal, Marvin Agustin, Dominic Ochoa, Mylene Dizon, and Patrick Garcia, who shared highlights of their fun-filled reunion on social media, with the exchange gift portion of the party stealing the show.</p><p>In the trending exchange gift game, each friend brought multiple identical gifts for the others. Masaya, maingay, magulo—pero malalim. Ang sarap balikan kung saan nagsimula lahat: mga kabwisitan namin noon, mga tampuhan, tawanan, kalokohan… at kung paano unti-unti itong naging maturity, understanding, and yes—love. Hindi ko madalas gamitin ang salitang pagmamahal, pero ’yon talaga ang naramdaman namin kagabi,” Marvin wrote in his post. </p><p>The actor-chef expressed his admiration and gratitude for the friendships that strengthened over the years.</p><p>“Reuniting with this group reminded me of how rare it is to have friendships na hindi binuo sa isang araw, isang linggo, o isang taon. And being together again last night felt like a reminder of who we are now, individually and collectively… and why love and relationships will always matter most. This Christmas, sobra akong grateful.”</p><p>Ending his message, he expressed: “Walang tatalo sa pakiramdam na nasa paligid mo ang mga taong minahal mo… at patuloy kang minamahal pabalik. Nothing is more important than love and the relationships we choose to nurture. ❤️✨”</p><p>Jolina echoed the sentiment, calling her <em>Gimik</em> barkada her constant.</p><p>“Real friendship isn’t about relevance; it’s about the roots that hold even in winter. Sabi nga nila, you need true friends in a world full of passing seasons. The ensemble cast also include late actor Rico Yan.</p>
