Sharon Cuneta adopts a rescued puppy named Scout: ‘I fell in love with him!’

<p>Last month, actress Sharon Cuneta encouraged her followers to support animal shelters. As a longtime animal lover and advocate, Sharon has always made it known that her pets are like family to her. He is one of the furbabies at @pawssionproject . I met him and some of the rescues two days ago. And now I have the best NEWS — I have just made him MINE!🥰🐾🐕🥰💖❤️🤗😘❤️❤️❤️ Di ko pa siya maiuwi, kasi masikip pa kami sa condo, but I have already informed @malouperezzz of @pawssionproject that he will come home to us this year!”</p><p>Although Scout still had to stay a bit more in the shelter, Sharon already got into active furmom duties by taking care of Scout’s needs. </p><p>She continued: “And in the meantime, I will take care of all his needs at the shelter while Malou and our beloved volunteers take care of him before Mama welcomes him home!!! I fell in love with him two days ago. I met all of the rescues Malou brought with her, and they are all absolutely LOVABLE — but just like Pawi, Scout chose me!!! Your good sense is absolutely right! 🔥🔥🔥❤️We will see you and be with soon!”</p><p>Two days earlier, Sharon revealed her upcoming vlog featuring the rescued dogs from the Pawssion project animal shelter. She wrote, “Bella, Pixie, Pawi and I (and Daisy too, but because she is “human,” she didn’t want to play with all the other dogs!😂) spent the day yesterday with @pawssionproject ‘s @malouperezzz and some of their rescues (still waiting for their forever homes!)! We had such a wonderful time together. I gave the dogs their first burgers ever and they were so thrilled! I cannot express in words how rewarding it is to love animals. She wrote, “What a beautiful afternoon we had yesterday with the @reallysharoncuneta and her dogs including Pawi!! 🤍 They also have several adopted aspins in their farm in Cavite on top of her 16 dogs at home.”</p><p>Malou went on to express gratitude at Sharon’s support for their cause. </p><p>“We are so so grateful for her who continuously helps us get the word out. She also generously sponsored many rescues to help out with all our expenses and the rescues’ needs at the shelter,” she shared. “We cannot emphasize enough how crucial every single person’s efforts to advocate for animal welfare is. Not everyone has all the resources to donate, not everyone has the time and capacity to adopt or volunteer, but we all can advocate and educate each other on how we can do better for animal welfare.
