<p>TJ Monterde shared the reason why he married KZ Tandingan twice.</p><p>The &quot;Palagi&quot; singer held his wedding with KZ in 2020 and had a second wedding in 2023.</p><p>&quot;We were hesitant nung 2020 kasi wala &#x27;yung parents namin. Pumayag lang sila, they just gave us the blessing para lang magi-isang bahay na kami,&quot; he recalled in an interview with Karen Davila.</p><p>He went on: &quot;After nung first wedding we told each other, we promised each other that we are going to do a wedding again with them.&quot;</p><p>TJ remarked that the second wedding revolved around their parents this time.</p><p>&quot;So 2023 nangyari yun kasi open na lahat nun so our families were there. The whole wedding revolved around them, and the special part of it was nahatid nila kami sa altar na hindi nila nagawa nung wedding namin. I did my vows sa parents niya. She did the vows sa parents ko,&quot; he said.</p><p>TJ pointed out: &quot;You are also going to marry them. It&#x27;s a one big family now. If you honor your parents, God is going to bless you. [I told her] &#x27;May 29, 2013, exactly 10 years ago was the day I met you.&#x27; That was the story of the song,&quot; he stated.</p><p>He continued: &#x27;We had dinner and I sang this song for the first time. [I told her], &#x27;We&#x27;re ten years na magkakilala but still I want to reassure you na kahit anong mangyari, kapag napaligiran ng ingay at gulo di ko ipagpapalit &#x27;yung ngiti mo sa mundo, palagi .&quot;</p>
