Karen Bordador’s vlog to focus on prison stories

<p>It’s been almost four years since Karen Bordador was acquitted of all charges and released from prison in 2021 after being charged with a drug-related case. Since then, the Kapamilya host and model has been steadily growing her career, as well as advocating for the improvement of the Philippine justice system and prison reform programs. So there’s going to be a lot of personalities you’ll see that maybe you never even knew they were in prison or they were connected to the justice system. Maybe they were impoverished. Every single aspect of jail life, I’ll be able to share in my vlog on YouTube. And it means that they want to impart lessons. Madaming tao kasi, when they hear na nakulong ka, they feel na parang outcast ka na. So itong mga tao na I have on my show, they want to teach people in the outside world na you got to give people second chances and also madaming nalalagay sa sitwasyon na ganun, not because they did something wrong, but because the outside world has done them wrong. If you are into television and want to be a TV host, watch a lot of TV shows and also watch a  lot of broadcasts and listen to Spotify a lot and hopefully get your voice. And with that, be an intern. Audition like crazy and be humble enough to try and try. Kasi you will get rejected so many times. It took me more than a hundred interviews, more than a hundred auditions before I got a job. So just because someone said no, it will mean yes in the future so just keep on going. Just do it,” she added. </p><p>When it comes to her personal life, Karen explained why she is currently happily dating someone outside of showbiz.</p><p>“Actually, I don’t want anyone on cam. i prefer someone who’s low-key and successful in their line of business. Kasi in our industry there’s just too many people you meet so it’s better if it’s a small circle. For me, that’s how I feel. But it has to be someone who’s powerful in their industry. Let’s just say that the one hopefully will come this year (laughs). I’m not lonely but I don’t know if it’s the one. Basta, we’ll see,” she admitted. </p>
