EXCLUSIVE: Alexa Ilacad rates her past ABS-CBN Ball outfit: ‘Hindi naman ako nagki-cringe when I remember it’

But I think okay naman yung look ko before, nung first ever ball ko. Hindi naman ako nag-cringe when I remember it,” she expressed.</p><p>When asked how she would rate it now, Alexa gave a thoughtful answer: “In fairness, I really like that eh. I think bagay na bagay sa akin yung look na yun. So I&#x27;m gonna give it an 8.”</p><p>She added what her initial inspiration was at that time.</p><p>“I didn&#x27;t really have a custom-made gown yet at that time. It was my first time. And ang alam ko, ang atake ko lang nun, ay basta sweet girl, princess lang, ganun. But I do, I really did like what I wore. Parang naka-halter na white. Yun lang yung medyo natatandaan ko. Sorry, I have bad memories. So, looking back, hindi ko alam paano ako nasa-survive lahat ng ball. Wala akong hotel room. Pero ngayon, meron na.”</p><p>Meanwhile, the Kapamilya star excitedly teases the concept behind her outfit for the upcoming ball.</p><p>“I was googling, I was pinteresting, what on earth is spring formal? Hindi ako masyadong maalam when it comes to fashion. But, I saw a lot of florals. And ako personally, when I hear the word spring, there&#x27;s a certain flower, a certain season in my favorite country that immediately, immediately comes to my mind,” she shared.</p><p>She went on to say how that became the core of her overall look: &quot;It is my favorite flower. May sentimental value sa akin yung spring. May sentimental value sa akin yung spring in that country. So sabi ko, okay for this year&#x27;s ball, I want that flower to be the peg, the whole, the vision board for the gown, like for the beadwork, for the color, etcetera,” Alexa explained.</p><p>Aside from the concept, Alexa added that it will also reflect her personality, with input from her style team.</p><p>“Of course, it will have a touch of my personality, and with the touch of how my stylist, Patty Yap, thinks of me, kung anong bagay sa katawan ko. Syempre, kung ano yung expertise doon ni Miss Vee Tan, because she&#x27;s my designer. I trust everything sa kanila,” she noted.</p><p>The &quot;<em>Brighter Together: ABS-CBN Ball 2025</em>&quot; will take place on April 4, with exclusive red carpet coverage available for live streaming on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel.</p>
