<p>Herlene Budol shared that her 87-year-old grandfather is her greatest inspiration today, driving her to work even harder.</p><p>&quot;Hindi na matagal ang buhay ng lolo ko aaminin ko na po kasi 87 years old, hindi na po biro ang laban na &#x27;yun. Kaya ako po hangga&#x27;t maaari mas sinisipagan ko po, mas ginagalingan ko po, para din po sa kanya. Kasi si tatay &#x27;yung inspirasyon ko rin po ngayon,&quot; she said in an interview with Boy Abunda.</p><p>Despite her hectic schedule, Herlene makes it a priority to visit her grandfather as often as possible. &quot;Umuuwi po ako ng madaling araw para lang po mag-hi sa kanya tapos umuuwi rin po ako ng QC. Iyon &#x27;yung point na talagang bago siya mawala, isang buwan na lang nagkaroon ako ng bahay at lupa. Grumadweyt po ako. Nagkaroon po ako ng sarili kong teleserye. Nagka-crown po ako. Lahat po &#x27;yun isang buwan lang. Halos tatlong linggo lang, hindi pa po niya naabutan. Iyon po &#x27;yung gusto kong ibigay sa lolo ko bago po siya mawala,&quot; she said.</p><p>Despite her rising success in show business, Herlene remains no stranger to criticism. In the same interview, she candidly spoke about the challenges of being in the limelight and how some people still question whether she deserves her achievements.</p><p>&quot;&#x27;Yung parang ang daming nanghu-husga sa&#x27;yo na deserve ba ni Herlene na kung nasaan siya ngayon? Ang daming parang hindi bilib pero nasa point po ako na wala akong pakilaam sa lahat ng mga sasabihin sa akin nung ibang tao,&quot; she pointed out.</p><p>Herlene emphasized that her success is the result of her own perseverance and dedication.</p><p>&quot;Basta &#x27;to hindi ko nakuha ng madali lang. Pinaghirapan ko po &#x27;to kung nasaan po ako ngayon at sisiguraduhin ko po na talagang hindi ko po sasayangin &#x27;yung ibinigay sa akin ng Panginoon para po mas marami po akong ma-motivate na ibang tao na kung kinaya ko, kakayanin niyo rin,&quot; she said. </p>
