<p>Beatrice Luigi Gomez shares how she takes care of herself during that time of the month, as well as the wellness mindset she lives by.</p><p>PUSH ABS-CBN caught up with Beatrice during an event at Avignon Clinic Alabang on Thursday, April 11 where, during the program, she spoke about her experiences with the hormonal changes that women experience monthly.</p><p>“Definitely one of my skin concerns is that when I have my menstruation, my period, my skin gets really dry and dull. And the tendency is, when it gets really dry, is that I have breakouts,” the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 titleholder said, sharing how treatments like the Avignon Translucent Vital helps improve her skin’s texture.</p><p>In an exclusive interview after the program, Beatrice elaborated on the ways she takes care of herself during red days. “Of course, I check my cycle leading to the day of my menstruation, talagang physically I try to prepare like I eat healthy food, I avoid caffeine, and of course, I exercise a lot kasi it really matters that I sweat it out para malabas ‘yun [toxins],” she said, saying that she also supplements her preparations with treatments. “Para ma-minimize ‘yung mga blemishes that come out when I have my period,” Beatrice added.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2023/9/6/former-miss-universe-ph-beatrice-luigi-gomez-buys-house-for-her-mom-1449"><strong>READ: Former Miss Universe PH Beatrice Luigi Gomez buys house for her mom</strong></a></div><p>She also talked about how she stays disciplined despite challenges. “You know a lot of people ask me na it’s not every day that they’re motivated to do things like work out, wake up early. There are really days na talagang nahihirapan ako especially with our hormonal changes, di ba? Talagang may mga days na mahirap bumangon but I really think about why I’m doing it; bakit ko siya gagawin and I think about the outcome of everything that I do so I feel better. Just trust the process. Nature has its own way of healing you so if you are going through challenges like with your health or with your skin, nothing is ever permanent. You know your body is capable of healing so you just really have to take care of yourself. Know where the problem is, what the problem is, and there’s always a solution for that. You just really have to trust yourself, trust the process of healing and just let nature do its work,” she said.  </p>
