Actually ever since I was young, gusto ko talaga maging mermaid kasi ang hilig ko sa beach. I love fish. I love going to aquariums, so to follow in the footsteps of Anne Curtis, that would be such a huge honor for me talaga. And pag nagawa ko yun, masasabi ko na talagang okay na ako,” Kira candidly shared.</p><div><br/></div><p>But when asked who her Fredo or leading man would be, Kira seemed to have a hard time deciding: “Ang hirap. I can&#x27;t give you a name right now. I have to think about that.”</p><div><br/></div><p><em>Dyesebel</em> was last adapted into a television series in 2014, with Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis in the title role, alongside Gerald Anderson, who portrayed Fredo.</p><div><br/></div><p>Aside from playing a well-loved mermaid, Kira also revealed that she has always wanted to play a kontrabida role. </p><div><br/></div><p>The reality star mentioned her admiration for Pinay actress Jodi Sta. Maria, whom she looks up to for her ability to portray both bida and kontrabida characters.</p><div><br/></div><p>“Si Ate Jodi dun sa <em>Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin</em>. Iba ang laban ni Ate Jodi doon. I want to be a kontrabida with depth like her. Actually, she&#x27;s not known to be a kontravida but I look up to her dun sa role niya. As in, there are times where nagugulat ako sa eksena, na out of character ako because, ‘Oh my God, is she serious?’ Grabe, I look up to her so much. Actually, I didn&#x27;t really get to talk with her kasi wala po kaming masyadong eksena together. Onti na lang yung mga eksena namin, pero sobrang laki ng impact niya dun sa show,” the Kapamilya actress said.</p>
