A sports utility vehicle ran through the crowd, killing and injuring several festival attendees.  </p><p> In Bianca’s post, she highlighted the “Bayanihan” spirit of Filipino communities in the neighboring places in Canada who came to help their fellow Filipinos in the tragedy-hit Vancouver.  </p><p> “After the tragic events at the Lapu-Lapu Day Festival in Vancouver, the Filipino communities around Canada came together to help, and even weeks after, they continue to do so,” she wrote.  </p><p> This is not the first time ABS-CBN has initiated a show of purpose, as Bianca noted in her Instagram post. </p><p> “In the past few decades, kapag may matinding kalamidad o trahedya, within just days or even hours, &#x27;matic na that ABS-CBN organizes a telethon, a fundraising, or a tribute program in honor of those affected,” she said.  </p><p> “Artists, staff, and crew come together to contribute our talents in solidarity with victims, survivors and their loved ones,” she added.  </p><p> The <em>Pinoy Big Brother</em> host took pride in being part of the network that always puts service at the forefront.  </p><p> “One of the reasons I am so proud to be a Kapamilya is how much we value our mission of service and &#x27;doing our part,&#x27;&quot; she said.  </p><p> Bianca has always been vocal about being a proud Kapamilya.  </p><p> Last March, she paid tribute to the ABS-CBN compound by sharing a photo of herself at the iconic tower, following the network’s announcement that a portion of its Quezon City property would be sold to Ayala Land Inc.  </p><div> </div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/business/2025/2/27/abs-cbn-to-sell-portion-of-its-quezon-city-property-to-ayala-land-1328"><strong>READ: ABS-CBN to sell portion of its Quezon City property to Ayala Land</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>Reminiscing her early days as a brainstormer and trainee writer, her first job at the network, she acknowledged that the compound’s role in shaping her career.  </p><div> </div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/3/1/bianca-gonzalez-pays-tribute-to-abs-cbn-compound-in-shaping-her-career-2258"><strong>READ: Bianca Gonzalez pays tribute to ABS-CBN compound in shaping her career: &#x27;So many memories in this space&#x27;</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p> &quot;I started hosting in 2004 but my first job in ABS-CBN was in 2003, as a brainstormer and trainee writer. Sooo many memories in this space!! 21-year-old Bianca had no idea what was in store for her,” she captioned her Instagram post. </p><p> &quot;Ito talaga ang aking stomping grounds during my first job as a brainstormer, and trainee writer,&quot;  she added.</p>
