<p><em>It’s Showtime</em> host Kim Chiu gave fans a glimpse of her birthday celebration through a recent vlog, where she shared behind-the-scenes moments from her special shoots in Dubai and Balesin.</p><p> Kim, who turned 35 this year, chose to celebrate her birthday in a simple yet meaningful way.</p><p> “This year, I chose a quiet birthday. No big celebrations, just a moment to pause, reflect and simply be. That’s the motto of my birthday. Dubai was a surprise na hindi ko inexpect and Balesin is really my little peaceful escape.”</p><p> “Every time na nandito ako, I feel like I hit the pause button. This chapter XXXV (35) has taught me to live big, love louder, and never stop showing up for myself.”</p><p> “When I first thought about celebrating my birthday this year, I imagined the beautiful sunset, grateful for the gift of life, the beauty of sunsets and the promise of sunrises,” she continued.</p><p> She also thanked those who have been part of her journey, saying “This journey has been incredible and most of all, I&#x27;m very thankful for the people in my life right now. To the National Childrens’ Hospital and The Village of Hope, maraming maraming salamat for warmly welcoming us into your space and allowing us to share this special day with the kids,” she shared.</p><div> </div><p>In an Instagram post last April, Kim shared photos from her desert shoot and revealed she initially had no birthday plans.</p><div> </div><p>“I honestly didn’t have any plans/shoot for my birthday—my only plan was to chill and do absolutely nothing at home. But plot twist: here I am, in the middle of the desert!🐪🌵🇦🇪 All thanks to my ate @kamchiu who planned everything and said, &#x27;Kailangan may picture ka, it’s your birthday!&#x27; non stop.😅 She told me, &#x27;Ako na bahala, stay put ka lang dyan.
