Alodia Gosiengfiao reveals how her father Ed supported her cosplay dreams

<p>After welcoming her first child Cameron into the world last November 2024, model and content creator Alodia Gosiengfiao has been enjoying her journey as a first time parent with her businessman-husband Christopher Quimbo. Prior to starting her own family, Alodia was known as one of the country’s most successful cosplayer and gamer, as well as co-founder of the esports company Tier One Entertainment. </p><p>Having started to get into cosplaying as a young teenager when it was not yet as popular as it is now in the Philippines, Alodia admitted it was her parents, especially her father who really gave her the confidence to go for her dreams of becoming a cosplayer. He introduced us to video games. And when we had conventions, he helped build the booth. For example, I have a design and he helps me build it kasi my dad’s a mechanical engineer so I also learn from him on how to craft things. I started doing cosplay when I was 15. He’s a very simple guy. Like he really comes in if I’m really tired and what not. But of course, we really try our best to parang (mag) saluhan. And I guess he was just saying who is the bad cop and who is the good cop? That’s still up for discussion (laughs),” she shared. </p>
