Donny Pangilinan took a trip down memory lane as he visited his old grade school, The Learning Tree in Quezon City, a place he considers instrumental in shaping who he is today.&quot;Today we will be doing something different. We will be visiting my old grade school where I grew up,&quot; he shared in his latest YouTube vlog.The Kapamilya star revealed that before transferring to Brent International School and eventually moving to Laguna with his family, he spent his early years studying at the Christian school.&quot;Before Brent or moving to Laguna, I used to study in this small school called The Learning Tree. It&#x27;s a small Christian school where me and my siblings went,&quot; he shared.For Donny, the school holds a deep emotional significance, crediting it for helping shape his values during his formative years. &quot;This school is very, very close to my heart because I basically grew up here. As a young boy, there were a lot of values that they taught me. A lot of the roots instilled inside me were because of how I grew up here in The Learning Tree,&quot; he remarked.  The actor fondly recalled childhood memories spent on campus. &quot;Ang dami kong memories sa school na &#x27;to na never kong makakalimutan — from me playing in the playground to running my first three-kilometer in P.E., we had a fun run, playing table tennis,&quot; he recounted.Donny shared that he has maintained a close connection with the school and still keeps in touch with his former teachers, especially Teacher Francie, who runs the school.<div><iframe width="1826" height="1027" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Uz9-15hd4Sk" title="VISITING MY OLD GRADE SCHOOL | Donny Pangilinan" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div>During his visit, Donny toured the campus, played basketball with the students, and spent time bonding with his former teachers.He also surprised teacher Francie with a generous gift, donating Php1 million. &quot;What Teacher Francie does not know is that I actually prepared a gift for her. We will be giving her a check of Php1 million and she has no idea. So this would be my gift to her,&quot; he stated.Upon receiving the surprise, Teacher Francie was moved to tears. &quot;Nakakaiyak naman ang bata na ito,&quot; she said, thanking the actor for the generous gift that she will be utilizing for further building the school.Donny concluded his visit feeling fulfilled and grateful. &quot;I am just so happy and so blessed right now. That was such a great experience. It feels so good na bumalik sa roots ko and to be able to see again the people who have been part of my life ever since I was a kid,&quot; he said.
