<p>Vice Ganda opened up about his philosophy on money and how his mindset has remained consistent through the years.</p><div><br/></div><p>In an interview with Karmina Constantino on <em>KC After Hours</em>, the<em> </em><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/studios/tv/itsshowtime" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><em><strong>It’s Showtime</strong></em></a> host shared that he has always lived by a simple financial principle. &quot;Ever since naman napaka-simple lang naman &#x27;yung pananaw ko sa pananalapi. Parang never live beyond your means,&quot; he remarked.</p><div><br/></div><p>He explained that he always makes sure to save a portion of his income, no matter how much he earns. &quot;Kunwari, alam ko naman kung magkano &#x27;yung kinikita ko, so alam ko rin &#x27;yung gagastusin ko. Hindi ako papayag na wala akong mase-save sa sweldo ko every day.&quot;</p><div><br/></div><p>Vice also revealed that whenever he plans to make a big purchase, he finds ways to earn extra income.&quot;Kunwari may gagastusin ako sa weekend, naka-compute na sa utak ko &#x27;yun, mababawi ko &#x27;to. Kaya tatawagin ko &#x27;yung handler ko, &#x27;Gagastos ako dito ah. Hanap mo ako ng raket ah. Sobra akong takot na maghirap ulit hanggang ngayon,&quot; he confessed.</p><div><br/></div><p>The comedian acknowledged the unpredictable nature of life and how quickly circumstances can change. &quot;&#x27;Yung pag sinasabi nila, &#x27;Ay di ka na naman maghihirap.&#x27; Ay di natin alam. Pandemic nga dumating hindi natin alam kung hanggang kailan siya eh, di ba? Tapos paano kung magkaroon ako ng problema sa kalusugan ko?&quot;</p><div><br/></div><p>Vice also pointed out the uncertainty of the economy. &quot;Hindi naman natin alam ang galawan ng ekonomiya eh, di ba? &#x27;Yung value ng pera ngayon ganun pa rin ba &#x27;yung value next year? &#x27;Yung sampung milyon mo ngayon hindi naman na sampung milyon next year &#x27;yan eh, di ba? And pagchinallenge ka ng tadhana, hindi mo alam kung gaano karaming pera ang ilalabas mo dun sa challenge na &#x27;yun para makalampas ka. Dun ang takot ko.&quot;</p><div><br/></div><p>Because of these concerns, he maintains a strong work ethic and commitment to saving. &quot;Kaya I always work hard, I always save, I always make sure kikita ako.&quot;</p>
