EXCLUSIVE: Alodia Gosiengfiao on becoming a mother: ‘It changed me completely!’

<p>Since becoming a parent to her baby son Cameron last November, Alodia Gosiengfiao-Quimbo admitted that motherhood has turned her life around in many ways.</p><p>In an exclusive interview with <strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong> during the Midnight Dream Studio grand launch last May 27, the first-time mom shared some insights into the newest phase in her and her husband Christopher Quimbo’s life. </p><p>“It’s changed me completely. I never imagined how much work and dedication mothers give to their child until you become one. Grabe, I have so much respect. The most important realization was it really has to be teamwork. I can’t imagine doing this with any other person. Like, for example, we have shifts at night so we can get a couple of hours of sleep. A lot of people say it gets better. Because during the first month we really had no sleep. So I really had to pass on some projects. We had dinner with my family on both sides,” she said.</p><p>The 37-year-old content creator and influencer also shared that she and her husband are already planning to grow their family. “Actually, hopefully, maybe a girl? It was in 2003 when she first gained popularity in the cosplay community after getting into cosplay as a teenager.</p><p>“I haven’t done cosplay in a while. I kind of miss it sometimes but maybe down the line with Cameron our baby, one day (laughs) I’m very impressed that we have a studio like this in the Philippines. I mean, there are a lot of other studios as well but this was the first one I’ve seen that’s about 40 sets which is massive. If I’m not mistaken, it’s a 1,000 square meter area for this whole studio and there’s tons of varied concepts. It’s not like one type of theme lang. It’s a lot!” she added. </p><p>When asked for some words of advice for those who aspire to become a longtime content creator like her, Alodia said her advice is very simple. “Just find something you love to do. Kasi there will come times when there are challenges and what not, and if you really love what you do, you can power through everything!” she shared. </p>
