Katrina Velarde reveals having her nose implant removed

<p>Katrina Velarde, who has been very vocal about body enhancements, has revealed  in a Facebook video on Friday, June 6, that she had her nose implant removed due to complications. <a href="https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16ToZD2JZQ/"></a></p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?height=476&amp;href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FKatrinaVelardeOfficial%2Fvideos%2F1232320445288308%2F&amp;show_text=false&amp;width=267&amp;t=0" width="267" height="476" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>The singer attributed the cancelation of some of her scheduled events, including her supposed guest performance at the 98 Degrees concert last May, to the issue she had with her nose that prompted the procedure.  </p><p>“After kong mag-post about sa hindi ako makaka-attend sa 98 Degrees (concert) and I [had] to cancel some commitments na dapat kakantahan ko, it’s because I needed to have my nose implant removed as soon as possible, and it takes a while para mag-recover,” she said.  </p><p>“So nagkaroon ako ng complications four years after malagay ‘yung silicone implant sa ilong ko,” she revealed. “Alam niyo naman din na very open ako sa mga ginagawa ko, sa pagiging robot ko or pagiging android ko.”  </p><p>Katrina said it was not the first time she underwent a nose implant removal procedure.  </p><p>“At first, I had Gore-Tex (implant). Ni-reject din siya ng katawan ko right ahead, and then I had it removed also. Tapos itong pangalawa, ito na ‘yung ngayon, at nagkaroon na naman ako ng complication,” she said.  </p><p>In the same video, the singer extended her gratitude to her supporters who expressed their concerns.  </p><p>“Thank you sa mga nag-reach out sa akin. Sa mga nag-worry, okay lang ako, mga bes,” she expressed.  </p><p>Despite not making it to the 98 Degrees concert stage, Katrina said she was still able to attend the event during its second day.  </p><p>“I actually went to the concert of 98 Degrees on their second night,” she said. “They were very nice and then we talked about the collab that we did for ‘I Do Cherish You’. And it was so nice. In particular, she had chin and lip fillers, non-surgical eyelid enhancement, and rhinoplasty.  </p><p>“Actually, parang important din po kasi nowadays ‘yung physical appearance and I think I’m more confident po na nagpagawa ako,” she said, when asked where her confidence was coming from to bravely admit that she had enhancements done.  </p>
