BTS Jungkook opens new Instagram account

<p>South Korean superstar Jungkook opened another Instagram account earlier this week to the delight of his millions of followers from all over the world. His new account has already gained 6.7 million followers and his fellow BTS members have followed him already. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2024/12/11/bts-s-jungkook-opens-youtube-channel-for-dog-1311"><strong>READ: BTS’s Jungkook opens YouTube channel for dog</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>The creation of his new account came in just a month after his discharge date from his mandatory service enlistment alongside member Jimin. </p><p>Fans of Jungkook expressed their joy on social media after seeing their favorite idol back on the social media platform. Other netizens shared how they’re excited to see the different photos that the South Korean singer will be sharing on Instagram. </p><p>He previously went on Instagram Live alongside RM and V which was watched by thousands of their fans. In the live broadcast, Jungkook explained the reason for his Instagram username mnijungkook.</p><p>“My name is Jungkook,” he briefly explained. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/people/celebrities/jungkook-s-mandatory-military-service-will-start/36740"><strong>READ: Jungkook’s Mandatory Military Service Will Start in December</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p> Prior to his new account and username, Jungkook has had a couple of interesting usernames in the past. His first username was abcdefghi__lmnopqrstuvwxyz and was later replaced with junkgook.97.</p><p>“The way Jungkook’s Instagram is literally the Instagram of my ideal type. No posts, no stories, no profile pic. Only following his bros, I like my man mysterious and nonchalant,” a fan wrote.</p><p>“Can’t believe Jungkook’s Instagram era is coming back,” another fan added.</p><p>The South Korean superstar has yet to make his first post on the social media platform as of this writing. </p><p>Previously, Jungkook explained the reason he decided to delete his first Instagram account. </p><p>“I deleted my Instagram account. It wasn’t hacked. I just deleted it because I wasn’t using it much… So don’t worry… I immediately deleted the [Instagram] app too, and I don’t think I’ll be using it from now on! I just wanted to let you know in advance,” he previously shared.</p>
