<p>After opening her own bed &amp; breakfast in Baler, Quezon two years ago, it seems actress Glaiza de Castro’s love for the outdoors continues to grow despite her busy showbiz career. She wrote, “Sunrise done right. We began our day at 1.30 am which is an unusual hour to wake up on a Saturday; but this one was so worth it. We started our trek in the incredible @masungigeoreserve at 4 am; our target sunrise at the top of the trail.</p><p>&quot;We wound our way up the route guided by red torch light as not to disturb the diverse wildlife here. The steps carefully placed to wind upwards between towering limestone silhouettes.</p><p>&quot;Our guide EJ was so knowledgable, every plant has a story and the birdsongs which change in meaning as sunrise approaches.</p><p>&quot;The view from the top was other-worldly and we looked down on the clouds blanketing the landscape.</p><p>&quot;To top it off we transferred to a nearby platform where 2 friendly guides had prepared us the tastiest breakfast of ube champorado, fresh fruits, turon, hot chocolate and local tea.</p><p>&quot;This side of the top overlooked Metro Manila in the distance. The beauty of nature so close to the busy city and developers slowly creeping closer to the Reserve reminds us of the amazing work @anndumaliang and her team do and how we need to help them fight this amazing cause.
