Jordan Andrews is thankful for his role in ‘Joseph the Dreamer’

<p>Kapamilya star Jordan Andrews expressed how grateful he is for being part of the 2025 cast of <em>Joseph the Dreamer </em>musical where he plays the role of Joseph. I just wanted to be part of this show–– it’s a fun show. They called me in, asked me to read some of the Joseph scenes and it’s all just been a whirlwind since then. I’m still pinching myself,” Jordan admitted,</p><p>Jordan added how ecstatic he was as he feels like landing the role of Joseph is a “full circle moment” for him. Dubbed as the “Musical Dreamchaser of London” during his stay inside the PBB house, the Kapamilya actor related so much with the character arc of Joseph.</p><p>“When I read the script, ang unang theme na lumabas sa akin and stick out was the fact na dreamer siya. That’s who I am–– at my core, dreamer ako…  That’s what I’ve decided to make my main focus. Put it on my sleeve para pakita sa audience at sana maka relate sila,” he added.</p><p>He then shared how all the actors who once played Joseph–– Gary Valenciano, Franco Laurel, Audie Gemora, and Sam–– have all given him the same advice: being his own Joseph.</p><p>“They just said be your own Joseph, you don’t have to copy ours. Bring your own dreamer to the show so sobrang saya,” he expressed.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/2025/6/17/jordan-andrews-to-play-joseph-the-dreamer-in-select-performances-1109"><strong><u>READ: Jordan Andrews to play &#x27;Joseph The Dreamer&#x27; in select performances</u></strong></a></div><p>Jordan, who’s not new to the theater scene–– having performed at West End’s <em> </em> among others–– admitted how excited he is to see more from Philippine theater. </p><p>“We&#x27;re there like the production value of Philippine theater right now, with all of the original musicals and the Broadway musicals that they’re bringing, sobrang taas ng bar ng standards. I’m excited to be part of it,” he said. </p><p><em>Joseph the Dreamer</em> is holding its limited theater run at the Carlos P. Romulo Theater at the RCBC Plaza in Makati City. All shows are officially sold out as announced on their official social media accounts. </p>
