Nung una medyo awkward pa ‘yung co-parenting eh parang ‘Hi, hello! Ano ba? Magkaaway ba tayo? Ano bang pag-uusapan? Paano ba ‘to?’,” she recalled. “Pero ngayon sobrang okay kami. Hindi man kami sweet or hindi nag-li-live  sa same house, pero lagi kaming present. &#x27;Yun &#x27;yung promise namin sa kanya,&quot; she said. </p><div> </div><p>“Kahit makahanap ng bago si Vern (o) makahanap man ako ng bago, laging present &#x27;yung (mga) magulang [niya], hindi [kami] mawawala. Am I enough for Athena? Kasi hinahanap niya ang daddy or whatsoever. Kasi ang setup namin ng co-parenting, weekdays sa akin, Monday to Friday night. So parang sobrang hirap sa akin tanggapin na ako talaga ang naging dahilan kung bakit broken family si Athena,” she added.  </p><div> </div><p>When asked about her message for the single parents out there, she expressed: “You are enough. Hindi mo pinili ‘yan. Sino ba naman pipili ng ganyan? Don’t be too hard on yourself,” he said.  </p><div> </div><p>Riva and Vern confirmed their separation in 2024, emphasizing that there was no third party involved. They both promised to “remain on good terms” for the daughter.  </p>
