Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza bring son to hospital: ‘Flu season is here’

<p>Celebrity couple Kean Cipriano and Chynna Ortaleza brought their son, Salem, to the hospital due to an infection. She was at peace knowing that everything would be okay with her son.</p><p>“His body was a super house &amp; all the prayers were indeed felt. I’ve never approached illness with this kind of peace &amp; awareness,” she wrote.</p><p>She cautioned other parents that flu season is already here and expressed she was grateful that they were able to get the vaccine earlier this year which minimized the complications that happened to Salem. Flu season in the country generally begins during the rainy season–– from June to November–– as it experiences cooler temperatures which helps in spreading the flu virus. </p><p>“Flu Season is here and I am most thankful that we were able to get the flu shot this year. His infection was manageable &amp; prevented complications that could arise from the viral infection,” she added.</p><p>Chynna then shared how she was able to determine Salem’s condition as he was barely able to eat anything which made them bring him to the emergency room of the hospital. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/4/8/kean-cipriano-mourns-loss-of-his-mom-chona-nakakatakot-nakakayanig-0943"><strong>READ: Kean Cipriano mourns loss of his mom Chona: ‘Nakakatakot. Nakakayanig’</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>“What we learned though is to make sure that dehydration is kept at bay. Remember to check how many times your child has passed urine &amp; stool. And in this case, our baby boy could barely eat anything by mouth without vomiting- please do not hesitate to bring your child to the nearest ER,” she explained. </p><p>“Kean, I think we just did the most beautiful lightwork during his IV insertion. I love you and thank you for being such a great being,” she ended. </p><p>Friends and fans of the couple sent their get well soon messages for Salem in the comment section.  </p><p>Kean and Chynna tied the knot back in 2015 through a private and intimate ceremony attended by family and friends. The couple welcomed their two kids back in 2016 and 2019, respectively. </p>
