EXCLUSIVE: Beauty Gonzalez details how she spent one month in India to become a certified yoga teacher

<p>Actress Beauty Gonzalez revealed that she is now a certified yoga teacher after spending one month in India where she learned the discipline. The series also stars Joaquin Arce, Freddie Webb, Nova Villa, Adrian Alandy, and Cedrick Juan, among others. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2024/9/5/beauty-gonzalez-marks-10th-anniversary-with-husband-norman-crisologo-1021"><strong>READ: Beauty Gonzalez marks 10th anniversary with husband Norman Crisologo</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>The actress, now a certified yoga teacher, shared that she took a 200-hour teacher training in India where she lived in the middle of a jungle which lasted for a month. She went to the South Asian country alone for the first time and admitted how life changing it was for her.</p><p>“I’m proud to say I did a 200-hour teacher training sa India… Doing this all alone for one month–– sobrang life changing talaga. I’m really amazed and thankful na natapos ko siya kasi hindi ka maimagine na magawa ko,” she shared.</p><p>Beauty recalled how “rigorous” the program was as they practiced yoga twice a day and only have a day of rest. She then revealed the reason as why she chose to study yoga in India instead of the nearer country, Indonesia. </p><p>“I really chose India because I know pag sa Bali ko ginawa, tatakas lang ako. Doon kasi, walang takas–– my school is in the middle of a jungle. Pag dating ng gabi, bawal kami lumabas kasi may mga tigers, may mga elephants. It really helps you as a person yung mga ganun,” she maintained. </p><p>For Beauty, yoga was something that she needed to do as she expressed how much work she was doing in the past years. </p><p>“Madadala ko buong buhay ko and yoga makes sense for me that teacher training,” she ended. </p><p>Meanwhile, <em>Tropang G.O.A.T.</em> is set to premiere on iWant this coming August 15. </p>
