Vice Ganda at Vice Comedy Club

Some even traveled from the province to visit her famed comedy club in Quezon City.</p><p>Others see the unkabogable superstar&#x27;s life as merely getting glammed up, taking selfies, and waving at fans, but it is much more than that.</p><p>Her super famous world consists of brainstorming for the hit noontime show &quot;It&#x27;s Showtime,&quot; making people happy, and simply striving to live a peaceful and intentional life.</p><p>With her fame, fortune, and fulfilled life, the Kapamilya superstar spoke to ABS-CBN News about her new definition of success. “‘Yung matulog ka lang nang masaya. Nakakatulog ka nang mahaba-mahaba. ‘Yun na ang success sa akin. Not the material things na,” she said.</p><p>“Dati, nung wala ka pang pera, ang success sa ’yo ay may kinalaman sa finances, material wealth. Kapag nakuha mo na ‘yun, hindi na ‘yun ang concept mo ng success. Sa akin, pahinga, family na,” she added.</p><p>Even if she holds huge influence, success,Vice said, is really about living a simpler life.</p><p>“Parang iba rin ‘yung beauty ng simplicity at sapat lang. Ang mahalaga lang naman talaga ay ‘yung may matulugan ka nang mapayapa. At tsaka ‘yung ma-maintain mo ‘yung good relationships. Kailangan ma-maintain mo ‘yun,” she shared with ABS-CBN News.</p><p>After all these years, the &quot;It&#x27;s Showtime&quot; host has never changed. Off-cam, Vice remains the quiet one among her friends.</p><p>“I am bigger than life pero in real life, hindi. Ako ang pinakatahimik. ‘Yung mga tao, when they see me, may intimidation, kasi hindi ako masyadong masalita,” she said.</p><p>She continued, “Sa &#x27;Showtime,&#x27; ang ingay nilang lahat, pero ako tahimik kasi pinaghahandaan ko ‘yung next segment. Sabi nga ng madlang pipol, para raw akong robot. Kapag commercial break, para raw akong pinapatay. Sobrang malayo. Kaya ‘yung mga tao, naninibago. Kahit sa school, nagulat nga sila kasi naging komedyante ako,” added the A-list star.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Showbiz, entrepreneur life </strong></div><p>The Kapamilya superstar also told ABS-CBN News that she doesn&#x27;t keep track of how long she&#x27;s been in showbiz.</p><p>“Hindi ko na ma-count. ‘Yung ‘Showtime,’ 17 years na. ‘Yung little ponies, may mga anak na,” she shared.</p><p>She added, “Hindi ko na ma-count kasi before ayaw ni Sir Deo (Endrinal) na nagsi-celebrate ng anniversary sa showbiz kasi raw tatanda sa mga audience kapag nalalaman nila ‘yung tagal mo sa showbiz. Hindi ka puwedeng tumanda. Kailangan ‘yung pustura mo, mukhang bata. ‘Yung trip ng mga bata, dapat nauunawaan mo.”</p><p>In a rare interview, the box office star also revealed that she has been looking for younger hosts for &quot;It&#x27;s Showtime&quot; as the original hosts age and prioritize their families.</p><p>“Noon ko pa gustong kumuha ng Gen Z na hosts kasi siyempre nagtatandaan na ang lahat. Nag-iiba na rin ang priorities. Si Anne (Curtis), may family. Si Jhong (Hilario), time sa family. Kailangang may makita ‘yung audience na makaka-relate sila. ‘Yung mga PBB now, pinapasama ko,” she said. </p><p>“Si Shuvee (Etrata), mag-semi regular na sa amin. Magaling siya. Nagsu-switch din ang personality niya,” she revealed. </p><p>As an entrepreneur, she confessed that she is not an expert in the financial aspects of her business. </p><p>“Hindi rin naman ako masyadong magaling sa negosyo kaya kailangan talaga na ‘yung partners ko ay pinagkakatiwalaan ko talaga katulad ni Neil (Arce),” she admitted.</p><p>She also mentioned her dream of owning an apparel brand. “May isa pa akong gustong gawin na hindi ko pa nagagawa. Gusto kong gumawa ng apparel. Ang hirap lang magbenta ng brand. Ang mahal ng production cost. Gusto ko ‘yung streetwear. Noon pa namin ‘yun pinag-uusapan ni Vhong Navarro,” she added.</p><p>After the interview, Vice left the Vice Comedy Club with a big smile on her face. Her exit elicited another round of cheers from the club&#x27;s patrons, who once again requested selfies.</p><p>She agreed to their photo requests and had moments.
