<p>Hollywood actor Manny Jacinto shared that he is proud to be one of the actors to represent the Filipino community in the West. He noted that he saw the different faces smiling back at him during the premiere of <em>Freakier Friday. </em></p><div><br/></div><p>“I hope we represented well in this and I hope to continue to represent well. It means the world and I think it’s what it really comes down to. Hollywood is cool and all of that stuff, swinging a lightsaber is cool,” he shared.</p><div><br/></div><p>“But I think at the end of the day, the most impactful and most gratifying thing for me is seeing Filipinos smile and be proud–– getting to see themselves in a positive way,” he added.</p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/8/9/manny-jacinto-says-he-is-open-to-doing-a-film-in-the-philippines-0835" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>READ: Manny Jacinto says he is open to doing a film in the Philippines</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>The Hollywood actor plays the role of Eric Reyes, the love interest of Lindsay Lohan’s character in the film. When asked about the similarities he had with his character, Manny revealed that their values are similar to one another. </p><div><br/></div><p>“I think in terms of his heart, him caring for his family, I think that’s where our similarities very much lie. We have the same compass that way–– very loyal, very much hold dear our tribe. That’s where we find ourselves very similar, the love we have for our loved ones,” he explained.</p><div><br/></div><p><em>Freakier Friday </em>is still available in cinemas worldwide. The highly-anticipated film is the sequel to the 2003 film,<em> Freaky Friday</em> which starred Lindsay as well. </p>
