Vice Ganda dedicates FAMAS best actor win to queer kids: ‘Your possibilities are limitless’

MANILA — After receiving the Box Office Hero award at the Eddys 2025, Phenomenal Superstar Vice Ganda earned another award, this time for acting, from the FAMAS 2025 which was held Friday at the Manila Hotel.In her regal black gown adorned with gold jewelry, she received the best actor trophy for her blockbuster movie “And The Breadwinner Is” alongside Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde, who won the same category. Before giving her official speech as a winner, the A-list star admitted that she was feeling the pressure of sitting next to movie icon Vilma Santos and award-winning actress Nadine Lustre.<div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/events/2025/8/22/list-2025-famas-awards-winners-0102" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">LIST: 2025 FAMAS Awards winners</a></div>“Ang nagbigay talaga ng pressure sa akin [ay] ‘yung kasama ko sa table si Nadine (Lustre) at si Ate Vi (Santos),” she joyfully shared. According to the Kapamilya superstar, she received her first FAMAS award years ago with the inaugural Dolphy King of Comedy Award, which was accepted on her behalf by her mother Rosario Viceral.She then went on to dedicate her newest win to the queer kids, saying, “May this award inspire all the queer kids na makakakita nito sa social media o kung saan man.”“May this recognition inspire you to embrace the endless possibilities [that] the world [has to offer you],” she continued.Inspiring queer kids to pursue their aspirations, she added, “As a queer kid, as a queer person, you can be the best makeup artist, you can be the best hairstylist, you can be the best fashion designer, you can be the best educator, you can be the best politician, you can be the best actress, and you can also be the best actor.&quot;“Because as a queer person, your possibilities are limitless,” she remarked in her inspirational speech.Vice also dedicated her award to her director, Jun Lana, who was also present at the ceremony. “Siya ‘yung gumawa sa akin as an actor dito sa ‘And The Breadwinner Is’ kaya maraming salamat, direk Jun Lana.”She also complimented the entire film&#x27;s production staff and cast, including her acting coach, Malou de Guzman.“Lord, thank you so much because you’re making me win, win, win no matter what,” she concluded.
