Slater Young shares an update on Skypod renovations: 'Almost there!'

<p>Pinoy Big Brother winner Slater Young shared an update on the construction of their home, commonly known as the Skypod, in Cebu. The content creator showcased the major renovations that their house had in the 20-minute video. </p><div><br/></div><div><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/_rkflE6yOPE" title="Skypod Renovation Update - Almost there!" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>One of the major changes that their house had was the addition of the second floor–– making their home much bigger than before. </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/2023/5/15/slater-young-draws-flak-for-his-comments-on-men-fantasizing-other-women-1853"><strong>READ: Slater Young draws flak for comments on men fantasizing about other women</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>Slater shared that they’ve decided to do the service area first as they want their “house angels” to be settled in as comfortably as possible already when doing chores. </p><p>“Ito yung sinasabi ko na half of the house is already done. Inuna natin yung sa service area so that hindi mahihirapan yung mga house angels natin–– they have their place. Even with the cooking and the laundry, bagong bago na talaga,” he explained.</p><p>The former PBB housemate added that they’ve changed the colors of the walls in some areas of the house as they wanted the light to “bounce off” to have an illusion of a brighter room. </p><p>He shared as well some of the challenges they faced while having the renovation. He admitted that he would hire a project management team if given the chance to do it again as he’s been busy with his work as well. </p><p>“That’s where all this time is taking. I think also it’s because andaming natin projects na ginagawa all the time–– this has no project management or engineer, ako lang talaga. Hindi ako mismo kasi it would make things smoother especially knowing that I’m juggling a few things around. There’s always proper coordination going on which I think naman is happening better at our construction ––dito lang talaga palaging nasasacrifice yung sariling project,” he added. </p><p>Slater shared that their house evolved as well because of the needs that they have now as compared to before. </p><p>“When Kryz [Uy] and I were still wala pang anak, nag eevolve talaga yung bahay kasi nag eevolve yung needs mo. Ngayon, andami na namin–– tatlo na si Sevi, Saxon, [and] Scott… But always, I’m trying to make sure na we don’t over build,” he maintained.</p><p>With the Skypod almost being complete, fans expressed in the comment section how excited they are for the house tour. </p>
