<p>Volleyball star Deanna Wong shared that she pays no attention to her bashers on social media. Wala kang mapapala sa kanila–– patulan mo man sila o hindi, may masasabi pa rin sila sa&#x27;yo,” she said.</p><div><br/></div><p>“If you try to defend yourself, it will just stir up more criticism–– mag issue pa rin. Hinahayaan ko sa siya in a way na lilipas din at magiging okay rin kasi kahit ano gawin mong pag explain sa isang tao, kung hindi sila marunong umunawa, wala ka talagang magagawa,” she added.</p><div><br/></div><p>Despite having a strong mental composure now, Deanna admitted that it did get the best of her in the past. In 2022, the volleyball player received criticism on social media after a video of her went viral after allegedly ignoring her fans during a vacation in Boracay. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Sa una nung first na release na issue sa Boracay namin. Sobrang iyak ko nun. Parang nakaka affect siya ng mental health mo talaga and mental health to the sport na nilalaro ko is sobrang hirap. Sobrang hirap siyang gawin,” she continued. </p><div><br/></div><p>Deanna then shared that because of the incident, she became quite anxious each time she would go out. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Kapag lumalabas kami, may anxiety ako. Hindi naman siya ganun kalala pero alam mo yuyuko nalang ako para hindi ako masyadong mapansin sa mall or something like that,” she revealed. </p><div><br/></div><p>Meanwhile, Deanna’s team ended their PVL on tour preseason tournament earlier this week after bowing out to the Zus Coffee Thunderbelles in a thrilling five-set matchup. </p>
