Donita Rose shares why husband Felson Palad is an answered prayer

<p>Donita Rose opened up why she prayed for a virgin husband after being heartbroken by the end of her first marriage.</p><p>&quot;I had a prayer list for my first marriage, right? But it wasn&#x27;t very specific. It was kinda similar but after my heartache and pain, I was very specific this second time around [about what I&#x27;m looking for in a man],&quot; she explained in an interview with Bernadette Sembrano in her latest YouTube vlog.</p><p>When asked why she prayed for a virgin husband, Donita explained that she saw it as a divine sign. &quot;[I wanted a virgin husband] para clean slate. It wasn&#x27;t so much that he had to be a virgin. it was more of like, &#x27;Lord para alam ko na galing sa Inyo ito, give me something impossible, give me an impossible sign,&#x27;&quot; she said.</p><p>Eventually, Donita met her now-husband Felson Palad, without knowing at first that he was a virgin.</p><p>&quot;Well just to give a disclaimer, I&#x27;m still a man, and I&#x27;m a guy, I was a virgin but hindi naman ako innocent. Pero ito &#x27;yung nakakatawang conversation. Nag-pray muna ako, &#x27;Lord sasabihin ko kaya sa kanya &#x27;to?&#x27; I don&#x27;t know but I will let it be there and I let her decide. Tapos sabi ko, &#x27;D, meron akong sasabihin sa&#x27;yo,&#x27; sabi niya, &#x27;Ano &#x27;yun?&#x27; [I told her], &#x27;I&#x27;m still a virgin.&#x27; Tapos tahimik... Tapos sabi ko. &#x27;Hello. nandiyan ka pa? Ano break na tayo? I would understand,&#x27;&quot; he recounted.</p><p>Donita, stunned, told Felson that it was actually what she prayed for. &quot;Sabi niya, &#x27;Na-turn off ka ba?&#x27; Sabi ko, &#x27;I&#x27;m speechless right now.&#x27; Sabi niya, &#x27;Bakit, na-turn off ka?&#x27; Sabi ko, &#x27;Hindi. Pinag-pray ko &#x27;to.&quot;</p><p>When Felson asked her why it mattered, Donita explained that it was about faith and values.</p><p> &quot;Sabi niya, &#x27;Bakit virgin ang hiningi mo?&#x27; Sabi ko, I just wanted it to be a sign from God that this is the directon. If the guy says he is a virgin then it shows me that he has integrity, that he has morals, that you know, he has been thinking about his future wife for a long time. Something like that,&quot; Dontia recalled.</p><p>The actress further explained: &quot;For him to preserve his virginity for this long, it means that there is a fear of the Lord in his life and that&#x27;s what I wanted in a man above all things, somebody with the fear and love of Christ.&quot;</p><p>Donita and Felson married in September 2022 in intimate wedding ceremony held in San Clemente, California.</p><p>Following the wedding, Donita posted on her Instagram page: &quot;Surely your goodness and unfailing love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.&quot;</p>
