Kristel Fulgar shares realization after exploring Sokcho in South Korea with husband

Ilang beses na akong nag-Europe mag-isa, pero ngayon nalulungkot na ako ‘pag hindi siya kasamang mag-travel,” she shared.  </p><div> </div><p>Kristel emphasized that exploring places with her husband, Ha Su-hyuk, evokes a different sense of joy, noting that she no longer wants to go on solo travels.  </p><div> </div><p>“Ngayon, parang ayoko ko nang mag-travel nang ako lang. Iba ‘yung enjoyment ‘pag asawa ko talaga ‘yung kasama ko,” she said.  </p><div> </div><p>“Okay lang sa akin kahit saan niya ako dalhin, anong kakainin namin — siya lahat (ang) pipili. Traffic na kasi kaya nag-iba na ‘yung ETA (estimated time of arrival). Andami kasi talagang lumuluwas ngayon ‘pag ganitong holiday. Konti lang kasi ang leave ng mga Korean kagaya sa Pilipinas, kaya pag holiday talagang sinusulit nila,” Kristel explained.  </p><div> </div><p>The exhaustion caused by the long drive was quickly removed once they saw the breathtaking view of the sea from their hotel balcony.  </p><div><br/></div><p>While in Sokcho, Kristel and Su-hyuk explored its vibrant food scene and the wet market, trying out a variety of local delicacies.  </p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/8/11/kristel-fulgar-teaches-korean-husband-how-to-cook-adobo-1328" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>READ: Kristel Fulgar teaches Korean husband how to cook adobo</strong></a></div><div> </div><p>Su-hyuk then took his wife to the beach, which Kristel enjoyed as it gave her a taste of home.  </p><div> </div><p>“Ngayon lang ako nakapunta sa ganitong klaseng lugar sa Korea na may ganitong vibe na parang Pilipinas, parang pumunta ka ng Boracay,” she said.  </p><div> </div><p>Kristel, however, underscored that nothing beats the beauty of the beaches here, saying: “Iba pa rin talaga ‘yung ganda ng beach ‘pag sinabing beach sa Pilipinas. Walang katulad.” </p><div> </div><p>The content creator said their quick getaway was nothing fancy, but she emphasized that she savors even the smallest moments with her husband. </p><div> </div><p>“It was fun, nag-enjoy ako. Pero kung iisipin, parang simple lang naman ‘yung ginawa namin, wala naman masyadong special dun. Pero ‘yung ganong mga ka-simpleng bagay, sobrang nag-ma-matter sa akin, na-e-enjoy ko kasi kasama ko ‘yung husband ko,” she said.  </p><div> </div><p>Kristel and Su-hyuk tied the knot last May in South Korea.</p>
