Ashtine Olviga shares that Andres Muhlach was her ‘plot twist’ in 2024

<p>Singer and actress Ashtine Olviga shared that her onscreen partner, Andres Muhlach, was her plot twist for 2024. The two are set to reunite once more in the upcoming film, <em>Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna</em>, directed by Jason Paul Laxamana.</p><div><br/></div><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/8/27/andres-muhlach-and-ashtine-olviga-credit-each-other-for-both-professional-and-personal-growth-1138"><strong>READ: Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga credit each other for both professional and personal growth</strong></a></div><div><br/></div><p>In the episode, the two actors answered some questions and had to put their hands on a lie detector machine, which give them an electric shock should they tell a lie.</p><p>When asked if Andres was her type, Ashtine shared that he wasn’t at first but later on would find him cute. Despite her answer, the machine detected a lie but she then explained that she was really telling the truth. </p><p>“Nung una hind pero nung nakilala kita… Noong una hindi kasi mas tumitingin ako sa heart ng tao tapos nung nakilala ko siya, sabi ko ay cute naman,” she explained.</p><p>The young actress then expressed how she got to know more about him as they continued taping for their hit series. Since then, the two have bonded with each other and have been friends alongside their fellow cast members.</p><p>“Siguro after mga ilang taping days din namin kasi doon nakakapagusap na kami tapos mas nakilala ko siya. Kung ano yung nakita ko, hindi ganun yung inassume ko nung una. Sabi ko sa kanya yun siya yung plot twist ko nung 2024,” she said.</p><p>Andres then made sure to return the favor and expressed how close they’ve gotten over the past year since they worked.</p><p>“Sinabi ko na to dati kay Ash blessing din siya sa buhay ko and super grateful for you. Ang dami mong tinuro sa akin. I learned a lot about myself just working with Ash and siyempre yung dynamic namin–– you just can’t beat it talaga,” he expressed. </p>
