<p>Maymay Entrata took to social media to call for honesty and good governance from public officials amid the corruption issues in the government.</p><p>&quot;Gusto ko lang sabihin ng diresto: deserve po natin ang mas maayos na bansa. &#x27;Yung buwis na binabayaran natin, dapat napupunta sa mga bagay na makakatulong sa tao. Tulad ng maayos na kalsada, edukasyon, health care, at hindi lang sa bulsa ng mga nasa maling tao,&quot; she said in an Instagram post.</p><p>Maymay reflected on her experience of having to walk to school even during floods when she was younger. </p><p>&quot;Naaalala ko nung kabataan ko po, sanay akong maglakad papuntang school. Akala namin normal lang &#x27;yun,&quot; she stated.</p><p>The actress emphasized that these circumstances should not be considered normal, pointing out the need for better infrastructure and governance.</p><p>&quot;Pero ngayong mas may alam na ako, na-realize ko na hindi dapat ganun. Na balang araw, hindi na lang tayo matututong mabuhay para lang makaraos, kundi mamuhay nang may dignidad at tunay na pag-asa,&quot; she said.</p><p>The Kapamilya star concluded her post with a hopeful note, saying: &quot;Pilipinas, may pag-asa pa po.
