<p>Before becoming one of the country’s premier leading men, David Licauco first ventured into pageantry and modeling, something he has always looked back on with appreciation.</p><p>During Bench Fashion Week, <strong>PUSH ABS-CBN</strong> had the chance to exclusively chat with the well-loved star as he talked about his recent fashion experience.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1759021098048NEW THUMB - 2025-09-28T085831.774.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>“I feel like this time, I&#x27;m less anxious. When I was younger, isyempre kakabahan ka pa since it&#x27;s new to you. Di ba? Pero siyempre, through experience, I&#x27;ve been doing this the past 7 years. I have been with Bench the past 7 years. Ngayon, mas relaxed ako. I would say it&#x27;s away from taping. The past month, I&#x27;ve been taping talaga. Being here with Bench, doing this for Mr. Ben Chan, talagang nakatuwa. Parang brings me back to where I started,” he shared.</p><p>David also expressed his gratitude to the clothing brand for trusting him from the very start.</p><p>“I started in 2017. I didn&#x27;t have any shows yet pero si Mr. Ben Chan, he believed in me. So doon ako naglakad sa ‘Bench Under the Stars’ in MOA Arena. For someone na wala pa naman na papatunayan, he believed in me. Well I work out naman everyday throughout the year. Pero syempre since maglalakad ka for Bench, kailangan medyo mas payat ka nang konti and all that. And this morning also, I was watching mga modeling videos. Siyempre, parang refresher. Siyempre, as much as possible, I want to be ready and prepared for whatever,” David shared.</p><p>David also shared some of his favorite moments from the night.</p><p>“Tonight, honestly, just seeing Mr. Ben Chan and my manager, Arnold Vegafria, also seeing Gabbi Garcia, like cheering for me, and si Khalil Ramos, di ba? Nakakatuwa. Pero, when I was there, medyo, ang lakas lang nung lights. So, I really did not see who were there. It&#x27;s just that, Gabbi talaga was really cheering. So nakakatawa na lang may support sila sa akin,” he recalled.</p><p>Aside from David, other stars who graced the runway included JM Ibarra, Fyang Smith, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, and Jameson Blake.</p>
