<p>Looks like things are going strong for Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo and his girlfriend, singer Chloe San Jose. After celebrating their fifth anniversary last July, the two looked happy in love walking down the red carpet of the Preview Ball red carpet earlier this month. We respect each other so much. Like, the love, respect, and that kindness towards each other, it’s like how FIlipinos are to one another, especially if we have mga kababayan, kapag may mga turista we’re super hospitable. So it’s kind of like that with our relationship as well. We have so much respect for each other,” Chloe shared. </p><p>Carlos credited their shared faith as a big factor in keeping their relationship strong through the years, “Sa akin naman, siguro yung pagiging totoo and mapagpasalamat sa Diyos. Palagi siyang included sa every challenge, every successful moment namin, especially sa mga mahihirap na steps namin sa buhay. Pero it would have to be the first time we ever, ever, we saw each other. So we actually started being together for two years and we’ve never met each other yet. Everything was online. This was during the pandemic. And then the first time we saw each other was two years after and then parang the borders opened na and then he had he had his first ever competition right after the pandemic. It was the SEA Games in Vietnam. So that one I could never, ever forget,” Chloe recalled. </p><p>“Sa akin din the same kasi first time ko siya mahawakan po eh, first time na makausap in person, in real life. So napadama niya sa akin yung suporta na kinakailangan. It means so much to me that I never lost the language. Like my mom would really get angry at me and my sister when we migrated na sa Australia na why were we talking in English? Kasi siyempre we were used to it na like sa school. So full straight six hours sa school, me and my sister would talk in English. So then my mom would scold us. She really maintained our Tagalog and I’m just so proud that the &#x27;opo&#x27; and &#x27;po&#x27; is still with me throughout all these years that I’ve been in Australia.
