Christophe Bariou tells popular TikToker Daniel Mac about meeting girlfriend Nadine Lustre for the first time: ‘I didn’t know who she was also’

<p>Actress Nadine Lustre recently found herself in a surprise social media moment after being featured by popular TikTok content creator Daniel Mac while she was out strolling the streets of Rockwell, Makati City with her Filipino-French boyfriend, entrepreneur Christophe Bariou. </p><p>Nadine was seated in the passenger seat while Christophe drove a Mercedes-Benz 280s, a vintage luxury car valued at at least $130,000 or around ₱7.6 million, when Daniel approached them. He then asked the couple his signature question. As Christophe turned off the engine to hear him better, Daniel asked, “What do you do for a living?” </p><p>“I just live and surf on an island for a living, honestly,” Christophe replied. </p><p>He then suggested that Daniel ask Nadine instead, hinting that her answer might come as a surprise. Nadine quickly shared one of her recent works at last year’s MMFF, saying, “I was in a movie that was released last December. It’s called <em>Call Me Mother</em>. It&#x27;s a comedy drama.” </p><p>When asked if she had advice for aspiring actors, Nadine offered words shaped by more than a decade in the industry.  </p><p>“Success doesn’t happen overnight. Don’t chase the spotlight but rather chase the work,” she said. </p><p>The conversation then turned to their car, with Daniel complimenting the vintage Mercedes-Benz 280s and asking if they were both car enthusiasts. Nadine shared that her love for cars came from her father. “Well, my dad is a mechanic. Christophe shared more about his lifestyle and work, while emphasizing his support for Nadine.  </p><p>“I just want to support her. And for me, I just live [on] the island...I have a resort, but that’s pretty much it,” Christophe said. </p><p>As the exchange wrapped up, Daniel asked if the two were dating, which Nadine confirmed. </p><p>Christophe then reassured the TikToker for not knwoing Nadine, saying, “Don’t worry.
