<p>Premier leading man Jericho Rosales is someone many have long looked up to. With a career marked by memorable roles and lasting influence, he has built a reputation as one of the industry’s most respected actors.</p><p>In an exclusive interview with <strong>PUSH ABS-CBN,</strong> Jericho got real about being human too, opening up about a time when he turned to drinking during difficult moments in his life.</p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1772851770963NEW THUMB (36).jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/></div><div><br/></div><p>“Pag medyo rockstar ka nang konti or you have this rock and roll kind of mentality and attitude, go ka lang nun. Not just drinking alcohol, but eating. So sometimes (you think), ‘Okay lang yan, tatakbo naman ako. Okay lang yan, mag-workout naman ako.’ Or worse, you just don&#x27;t care. You&#x27;re not inspired. You just want to eat and eat and eat and eat. Or you want to have a good time. You go out and you drink and drink and drink. You try to escape certain scenarios and things in your life. And you end up overdoing things such as overeating or overdrinking,” he admitted.</p><p>But since then, the Kapamilya actor has found healthier ways to cope, especially by learning to be honest with himself first.</p><p>“The first step is actually, for me, siyempre, you wanna be honest with yourself. So there&#x27;s this issue right now that I&#x27;m trying to run away from. So I&#x27;ll deal with that and I won&#x27;t use food or drinks to deal with whatever I&#x27;m faced with. So you kinda wanna sit down and be honest with yourself. Be gentle with yourself and be honest and say, ‘It&#x27;s a hard time. I want to support my liver because it&#x27;s very important to take care of your liver. Because pag nag-malfunction yung liver, alam na natin yung sagot doon. You don&#x27;t want to get there. So as early as now, you want to support it. I&#x27;m very happy that I&#x27;m back with Liveraide. And they want to support my lifestyle.
