Demi Lovato on performing 'Camp Rock' songs with Joe Jonas at Jonas Brothers concert: 'It was so nostalgic'

<p>Demi Lovato opened up about what it felt like to perform &quot;This Is Me&quot; and &quot;Wouldn&#x27;t Change a Thing&quot; again alongside Joe Jonas and the Jonas Brothers.</p><p>In a recent interview on <em>The Kelly Clarkson Show</em>, the actress-singer shared how the surprise performance during the kick-off show of the 20th anniversary tour <em>Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour</em> at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on August 10, 2025 (US time), came together.</p><p>&quot;Joe literally just called and was like, &#x27;Hey would you wanna come out and perform at Met Life Stadium with us?&#x27; And I was like, &#x27;Absolutely.&#x27; It was so nostalgic, so much fun. We had a blast,&quot; she recounted.</p><p>The singer admitted she experienced a mix of emotions while performing the songs again.</p><p>&quot;It was so much fun, I was so excited, and I was emotional. He has a song in <em>Camp Rock</em> called &#x27;Gotta Find You,&#x27; and he played that before I came out for &#x27;This is Me.&#x27; And as it was playing, there was a montage going and I started getting choke up. I was like, &#x27;Oh my gosh, this is so special.&#x27; We hadn&#x27;t performed Wouldn&#x27;t Change a Thing&#x27; in probably like 15 years or something like that, so it was a big deal for us,&quot; she teased.</p><p>In an interview on the <em>Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce</em> podcast back in January, Demi shared her experience working on the film as an executive producer.</p><p>&quot;We are making way for the new generation to shine their light as bright as they are. And it&#x27;s just really exciting to see a new generation step into the footsteps of us and just like yeah it&#x27;s beautiful to watch a generation of new actors and performers have their moment. I met them as a group,&quot; she recalled.</p><p>She went on: &quot;I gave them some advice... and it was like don&#x27;t be afraid to ask for time off, like take care of yourself first. It&#x27;s really important that you take care of your mental health so that you can do the other things you want to do like performing and acting but if you don&#x27;t have your mental health or if you get burned out, that can all go away so it is important to take care of yourself.&quot;</p>
