Hindi siya pilit pakinggan for me. Kaya siguro yun, sobrang cute niya, parang good. And also, many people were really spamming that,” he reacted.Sanford also got candid as he revealed how he eventually fell for Brigida.“Actually, nag-start talaga kami as friends lang. At some point, it stopped being casual. I noticed I was putting more intention into everything—making time for her, checking on her, and paying attention to the little things she’d say. Being around her became something I genuinely looked forward to, and that’s when I realized my feelings were becoming deeper. he recalled.He also opened up about what it was about Brigida that naturally drew him closer to her.“Kinilala ko muna siya nang lubusan eh. And by the time na nakilala ko siya, I was drawn to her because of her confidence and kung paano niya dalhin yung sarili niya, na parang in a sense sobrang gaan ng aura niya. Meron siyang positive energy na hindi mahirap pansinin. Kaya talagang mafi-feel mo na whenever you see her na this girl is genuinely pure.” Sanford expressed.The Team Liquid Philippines EXP laner also shared why he decided to go public with his courtship.“The reason kung bakit ako umamin at that time was because ayokong siya yung tumangke ng mga negative na comments or mga bashing. So I think right now, parang okay din naman na mag-explore sa sarili ko, like relationships ganyan. Kasi after all, may mga needs rin naman tayo sa buhay di ba. And yun, parang nahubog na rin ng panahon kung paano ako mag-isip, kung paano ako mag-react sa mga bagay, yung maturity ko in a way na hindi siya basta pang normal 19-year-old,” he pointed out. Sanford continued that even now that he’s also starting to focus on his personal life, he still makes sure to prioritize and provide for his family.“Nama-manage ko ang pera ko na kung paano ko siya i-split monthly, yearly, ganyan. And also, kung paano ko i-split siya sa future ng kapatid ko for emergencies, for investment. And also, like, Kapag sa mga medication ng papa ko, di ba, before galing siyang stroke. And yung some needs sa bahay, mga appliances, mga bills. And of course, recently na nagka-disease yung lola ko. Ayan, kung paano ko may namanage yung mga ganun. And I think, malaking experience ‘to sa akin,” he said.The world champion also teased some updates on where he and Bridgitte currently stand now.“Sometimes kumakain kami sa labas. Kapag talagang may free time lang kami. Pero siyempre, sinasabi namin talaga na dapat priority natin yung work no matter what. Kasi I do believe na if mawawala yung work, hindi mo masusuportahan lahat like family, yung relationship, and also yung sarili mo. Talagang ang iisipin na lang namin is to keep moving forward for us. And ayon parang makakapag-chill ka na kami nang konti.
