<p>The Philippines’ Queen of Bossa Nova Sitti Navarro-Ramirez recalled her college days when she had a crush on journalist Atom Araullo. In the recent PUSH It episode, the singer-actress shared how she felt inspired during her college days and how that inspiration led her to find her true love, her husband, Joey Ramirez.</p><div><br/></div><p>Both Sitti and Atom studied at the University of the Philippines Diliman. </p><div><iframe width="815" height="458" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/c2d0M9Q3nfo" title="Sitti on first crushes and the people we never forget l PUSH IT" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><div><br/></div><p>She has opened up about her crush for Atom in past interviews, but in the latest PUSH It episode, she described Atom as a “unicorn” whom she would really look out for at the campus grounds.</p><div><br/></div><p>“Yung college crush ko, of course Atom Araullo kasi sino naman yung hindi?” she expressed.</p><div><br/></div><p>Sitti recalled how they didn’t even know each other back then and would only cross paths after college when she debuted as a singer and Atom would eventually become a broadcaster. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Si Atom kasi nung college para siyang unicorn na talagang i-si-sight mo and hindi pa kami magkakilala noon. Yung crush ko sa kanya, dala-dala ko until I became a singer and the first time I guested sa <em>Breakfast</em> at Studio 23, host siya dun. Siyempre, kilig na kilig ang lola mo. 41 na ako ano ba,” she recalled.</p><div><br/></div><p>While she had a crush on the seasoned broadcaster, fate had other plans for her as she found her true love in the form of her husband. Despite this, Sitti maintained how fun it was having a crush as it was also inspiring.</p><div><br/></div><p>“Sometimes, even yung kilig na yung alam mong hindi ka naman niya papansinin or yung kilig na hindi mo alam kung makikita mo siya. Pag nakita mo siya, nasilayan mo siya, ang gwapo-gwapo niya,” she shared.</p><div><br/></div><p>“It’s a very very fun stage for a girl–– for a person–– to have someone that you like. Siyempre, focused ka sa studies mo noon. I mean ang saya habang nag aaral ka, you take a break and then you think about someone,” she added.</p><div><br/></div><p>Now celebrating 11 years of their marriage this year, Sitti maintained how different the feeling is between her crushes back then and having the love of her life now.</p><div><br/></div><p>“Now, we’re 11 years married sa end of the month. Mas masaya pag maayos kayo and may assurance na whatever happens, we will always get back to each other and with each other,” she said. </p><div><br/></div><p>Her definition of love has also grown over the years as she recounted how true love never gives up.</p><div><br/></div><p>“It will not see the mistake or makikita yung mistake pero mas lalamangan ng pag-ibig yung pagkukulang, yung pagkakamali–– whatever it was that happened.  Yun yung love talaga. Love never gives up, always forgives,” she ended.</p><div><br/></div><p>Meanwhile, Sitti is set to hold her 20th-anniversary concert on May 17 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. </p>
