After seven years together, content creators Gavin Capinpin and Elma Asagra have officially gone their separate ways, confirming their breakup through statements shared on social media. Known to their online followers as Ser Geybin and Mam Elma, the pair announced the news on June 23, nearly three weeks after Gavin became the subject of cheating allegations online that triggered heavy speculation surrounding their relationship. In separate Facebook posts, both creators opened about the difficult decision, expressing gratitude for one another while clarifying that their breakup was not caused by a third party, contrary to rumors circulating online in recent weeks. In her statement, Elma directly addressed the cheating accusations previously thrown at Gavin, admitting that while many people often saw them happy in front of the camera, their relationship had quietly been facing struggles behind closed doors for quite some time. “We really tried our best to work things out. Yes, nakikita ninyo kaming masaya on-cam, pero sa likod ng camera, we also have our own problems and struggles na kami lang ang nakakaalam. Nilaban po namin hanggang sa huli,&quot; she wrote.  She stressed that despite building their careers together online, their relationship was never simply for content and what they shared through the years was genuine. “Dumadating po siguro talaga ’yung time na hindi mo na maramdaman ’yung mutual feelings. Magkaibigan po sila, nabigyan lang po ng malisya ang mga kumalat ng pictures based sa kung ano lang po ang nakikita, pero lahat po yon bago mangyari ay alam ko na, dahil pinapaalam lahat ni Gavin.” She then appealed to supporters not to rush to judgment, explaining that both had spent a long time trying to repair the relationship before ultimately arriving at what she described as a &quot;mutual decision&quot; to separate. Acknowledging the fans and families affected by the news, Elma thanked everyone who had consistently supported them, but admitted they no longer wanted to pretend everything was still okay while privately struggling. Alongside her statement, Elma also shared a deeply personal message thanking Gavin for the years they spent growing together. “I learned so much from our relationship, and I will always value the time we shared together. You have been such an important part of my life. Ang daming plano at pangarap na natupad natin nang sabay. Salamat sa pagmamahal na binigay mo sa akin at sa pamilya ko. You gave me the kind of love that I will forever cherish. I will always be thankful and grateful for you. You will always have a space in my heart.”She added, “Breaking up is never easy, especially when it happens in front of everyone. Alam ko na may mga taong iisipin na ang mga gawa-gawang kwento na iyon ang dahilan ng aming hiwalayan, kaya lilinawin ko lang po muli, kaibigan ko po iyon, at hindi po iyon ang dahilan ng aming hiwalayan. Alam rin po ni Elma na may kasabay akong lilipad noon dahil nagpaalam ako at may kanya-kanya kaming lakad.&quot;Gavin also apologized to both their families, who became caught in the controversy, particularly after online criticism began spreading toward people close to them. He likewise offered an emotional apology to Elma’s parents, saying: “Tito at Tita, patawarin nyo po kami dahil nasa dulo na po kami ng masaya naming pagsasama. Masakit man po sa amin gawin ito pero ito na po ang nakita naming solusyon. Andito lang po ako lagi, mananatili nyo po akong pamilya.”Toward the end of his message, Gavin thanked Elma for the seven years they spent together and reflected on everything they achieved as partners. “Elma, gusto ko lang sabihin na habang buhay ko dadalhin yung pagmamahalan natin at isa ka sa pinakamagandang nangyari sa buhay ko, wala akong pagsisi sa lahat ng nangyari dahil napakadami mong naituro sa akin at naitulong sa akin.” &quot;Ikaw ang naging kasangga ko sa lahat ng bagay sa hirap man o saya, natapos man ang lahat pero ang saya ko lang na ang dami nating narating na magkasama at mga plano na natupad.&quot;He continued by praising Elma’s hard work and journey, saying he was proud to have witnessed her build the life she dreamed of. “Proud ako sa’yo mula umpisa hanggang dulo,&quot; he expressed.  Though the relationship has now ended, Gavin admitted he still hopes to remain supportive of her. “I will never forget you and I will always be here for you. At gaya ng sabi mo ako din &#x27;you will always have a space in my heart.” Ending his statement, he wrote: “Every story has an end, but in life every ending is just a new beginning.” The breakup announcement came weeks after questions first surrounded Gavin on June 2, when Elma, along with Gavin’s brothers, informed followers that he had to temporarily step away from content creation after being hospitalized due to stress and anxiety. At the time, Elma publicly asked supporters to continue praying for Gavin’s recovery. Shortly after, online rumors began circulating about Gavin and a third party, allegations that both he and Elma later denied in a vlog released days later.
